Common Concerns Answered
What if I'm not ready when the notary arrives?
The notary will wait up to 10 minutes free of charge. After that, a $25 waiting fee applies every 10 minutes, or you can reschedule (cancellation fee applies within 2 hours of appointment).
Can I reschedule last minute?
Yes, but fees apply. Free reschedule up to 2 hours before appointment. Within 2 hours, $35 rescheduling fee. Less than 30 minutes or no-show incurs full service charge.
What if my ID is about to expire?
Your ID must be valid (not expired) on the day of notarization. If it expires within 30 days, renew it first or contact us - some states allow other forms of identification with credible witnesses.
What if my documents aren't filled out completely?
Documents must be complete before the notary arrives. Notaries cannot provide legal advice or help fill out forms. Incomplete documents will result in the notary being unable to complete service, and standard fees still apply.
What if I need more time than expected?
Standard appointments include 30 minutes. If you need more time, notify us in advance. Extended appointments cost $35 per additional 30 minutes.
Can I add more documents during the appointment?
Yes, but additional charges apply per document and signature. The notary will calculate the additional cost on-site.
